Climate change is one of the most pressing threats to life on our planet.
Adapting one of the most well-known depictions of nature in music history: Antonio Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”, we’ve created the first concert that translates climate data into music, with the help of algorithms. Together with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and the sound talents of KlingKlangKlong, a recomposed version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons was born and officially performed on the 16th of November 2019 at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
FOR Seasons premiered at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg to a sold-out crowd and to 150,000 live viewers on Facebook. Just in a month, the voice of climate change achieved a global reach of 1 billion contacts. Moreover,
For Seasons is now a partner of United Nations Development Program and new concerts are being arranged.
